Understand the Installation Requirements

Prepare for the Installation

  • Detach the vent by unscrewing and removing the screws. 
  • Remove all joint fillers around the opening. 
  • Seal all screw holes and joints on the roof using a high-quality, all-weather sealant to ensure a proper seal. 

1. Create the Roof Opening

Begin by creating the roof opening for the system. This step also includes properly setting up the electrical wiring for the roof opening, as well as treating the opening.

2. Place the Unit onto the Roof

Next, the unit must be placed onto the roof of the RV.

3. Install the Air Duct & Top Mounting Plate

After creating the roof opening and placing the unit onto the roof, install the air duct and top mounting plate. This step also includes installing the appropriate air duct foam.

This step in the installation process requires setting up the electrical wiring for the system. This step includes connecting the wires in a specific order.

5. Setup the System Connections
