This is the second step in the installation process for ceiling cassette indoor units.&#xA0;</p><p id="isPasted">This article is for the following system:&#xA0;</p><p><a href="https://www.pioneerminisplit.com/collections/quantum-ultra-ceiling-cassette" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Quantum Ultra Ceiling Cassette (CYT-24)</a></p><h2 id="steps"><u>Steps</u></h2><ol><li>After setting the hanging bolts in place, slide one nut and washer onto each bolt. Position the nuts slightly above the final resting place of the four suspension brackets. Use tape to keep the washers in place.&#xA0;<ul><li><strong>9-18K Cassette:&#xA0;</strong>Adjust the lower washer to 2-3/8 inches (60 mm) above the ceiling.&#xA0;</li><li><strong>24K Cassette:</strong> Adjust the lower washer to 3-1/2 inches (90 mm)</li></ul></li><li>Align the four hanging bolts into the T-groove of the indoor unit&apos;s hanging bracket. This will facilitate the final connection of the refrigerant piping, condensate drain, and electrical wiring, allowing for future maintenance access. If installing an access panel is not possible, ensure that all final connections are completed before installing the cassette cover panel.&#xA0;</li><li>If installing the cassette body in a location that is more than 80&#xB0;F (27&#xB0;C) and 80% RH, add a insulation layer of polyethylene or similar material around the unit. The insulation layer should be 3/8 of an inch (10 mm).</li><li>Before installing the panel, complete all piping and wiring connections.&#xA0;</li><li>Verify the indoor unit and ceiling opening dimensions are correct prior to panel installation.&#xA0;</li><li>Seal all connection point gaps between the panel, ceiling, and indoor unit.&#xA0;</li></ul>

It is vital that the colors and numbers between the indoor and outdoor units match for each terminal. The color selection does not matter as much as matching number to number does. Do not mix up the wires between each end.&#xA0;</p><p>Connect the wires in accordance with the wiring diagrams, then verify that all wire strands are fully inserted and securely clamped at the terminals.
