Introduction
This article provides an overview of the installation process for wall-mounted indoor units.

This article is for the following systems:
- Diamante Essenza High-Wall (WYT-17)
- Diamante Pro High-Wall (WYT-20)
- Quantum Ultra High-Wall (WYT-24)
- Quantum Hyperformance High-Wall (WYT-25)

Select an Ideal Location for Installation
Before beginning, we recommend understanding how to select an ideal location for installing the indoor unit.

1. Install the Mounting Plate
Begin by installing the mounting plate for the indoor unit. This step includes drilling holes to specific measurements.

2. Drill the Wall Hole for Piping
Next, drill the piping wall hole for the indoor unit. Each model has different guidelines for drilling the wall holes.

3. Wire the Indoor Unit
Connect the electrical cables and signal cable for the indoor unit. The indoor unit requires specific gauge wires, depending on the type of model.

4. Prepare the Refrigerant Piping
Get the refrigerant piping ready by deciding which type of configuration is most suitable for the space. The piping "pigtails" pre-attached to the indoor unit can be run in three different methods.

5. Connect the Drain Hose
Connect the drain hose for the indoor unit. By default, the drain hose attaches to the left-hand side of the unit. However, it can also be attached to the right-hand side.

6. Connect the Refrigerant Piping
After unwinding the copper piping kit, connect the refrigerant piping to the indoor unit. This step requires torquing the protection caps and flange connection to specific measurements.

7. Wrap the Lines & Mount the Indoor Unit
Finish the installation process by wrapping the lines and mounting the indoor unit.
