Select an Ideal Location for Installation
Before beginning, we recommend understanding how to select an ideal location for installing the outdoor unit.

1. Install the Mounting Plate
Begin by installing the mounting plate for the system. This step includes drilling holes to specific measurements.

2. Drill the Wall Hole for Piping
Next, drill the piping wall hole for the indoor unit. Each model has different guidelines for drilling the wall holes.

3. Wire the Indoor Unit
Connect the electrical cables and signal cable for the indoor unit. The indoor unit requires specific gauge wires, depending on the type of system.

4. Prepare the Refrigerant Piping
Get the refrigerant piping ready by deciding which type of configuration is most suitable for the space. The piping "pigtails" pre-attached to the indoor unit can be run in three different methods.

5. Connect the Drain Hose
Connect the drain hose for the indoor unit. Unlike the other wall-mounted systems, the drain hose for the Quantum Fresh system can only be attached to the right-hand side of the unit

6. Connect the Fresh Air Pipe
Connect the fresh air pipe for the indoor unit. This step is only for Quantum Fresh systems.

7. Connect the Refrigerant Piping
After unwinding the copper piping kit, connect the refrigerant piping to the indoor unit. This step requires torquing the protection caps and flange connection to specific measurements.
