Only the outdoor unit connects to the main power supply. There is a 4-lead interconnecting cable that links the outdoor and indoor unit together, providing the indoor unit with power as well.&#xA0;The unit must be hard-wired, not plugged into its own dedicated breaker.&#xA0;
