Introduction

This article explains how to select the indoor unit installation location for Quantum Fresh (WYT-FA) systems.

Follow the tolerances depicted in the illustration below: 

Due to the fresh air + gentle wind mechanism, the model is designed without fingerguards. For safety reasons, the indoor unit's louver must be located at a safe height of 98 inches or more above the floor. If the system is installed at a shorter height, any injury incurred from sticking fingers into the airflow louver is the responsibility of the installer or user. 

Follow these best practices for selecting an optimal space for installing the indoor unit: 

• Do not install the unit on a wall that is subject to vibrations. 
• Do not install the system near sources of heat, steam, of flammable gases. 
• Do not install the indoor unit in a location that is exposed to direct sunlight. 
• Ensure that the inlet and outlet vents are not obstructed. The system should be able to output air all across the room. 
• Minimize the distance between the indoor and outdoor units. Install the unit in a location where connecting the indoor and outdoor units will be as simple as possible. 
• Install the unit on a strong wall and where it is easy to drain the condensate water. 
• Install the unit in a location where it be easy to service the product and perform any necessary maintenance.
