The error code may display if the compressor or outdoor board is failing. This article is for discontinued Diamante series systems (WYT-19 and WYT-22).</p><h2 id="troubleshooting"><u>Troubleshooting</u></h2><ul id="isPasted"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Ensure the outdoor refrigerant valves are backed out all the way counterclockwise to the open position by ohming &#x3A9; out the compressor with a multimeter.<img src="https://attachments.gorgias.help/Q9r0k7BYaV2vg13y/hc/9JWjXVxG8m6DvMqm/2025053013-eea4bf9e-1c84-49b3-a84b-d3b9df88e8b9-outdoor_refrigerant_valves.png" style="width: 300px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib"></li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Remove the top and front panels of the unit to see the compressor.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Pull out the sound insulation blanket wrapped around the compressor.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Ohm &#x3A9; out 3 compressor lead pairs on the large white Molex plug between the compressor and the board. The plug usually has red, blue, and white (or black) wires, meaning you will test each pin against each other.&#xA0;<img src="https://attachments.gorgias.help/Q9r0k7BYaV2vg13y/hc/9JWjXVxG8m6DvMqm/2025053013-4becf0df-c909-471c-8d75-d0acc0db4c07-molex_plug.png" style="width: 300px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib"></li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Test each wire individually against the ground using the metal casing of the unit or a ground screw. The wires should not have any reading against the ground. The compressor should not be grounded. The multimeter should read &#x201C;0&#x201D; or &#x201C;Open Line.&#x201D;</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">If the compressor works properly, replace the outdoor Inverter Power Module (IPM) board.</li></ul><p><strong id="isPasted">Note</strong>: Contact our Parts and Warranty department for any replacement components. The “0A” code indicates the Diamante series system has been placed into “Generator” or “Gen” mode. This article is for discontinued Diamante series systems.

<h2 id="isPasted"><u>Introduction</u></h2><p>The &#x201C;0A&#x201D; code indicates the system has been placed into &#x201C;Generator&#x201D; or &#x201C;Gen&#x201D; mode. The &#x201C;0A&#x201D; code is not an error code. This article is for discontinued Diamante series systems (WYT-19 and WYT-22).</p><p>Generator mode is helpful for unstable net power areas. The air conditioner operates in Generator mode.<img src="https://attachments.gorgias.help/Q9r0k7BYaV2vg13y/hc/9JWjXVxG8m6DvMqm/2025053013-61eb6df6-1995-49ec-8152-b0b6f935c6c2-generator_mode_details.png" style="width: 450px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib"><span contenteditable="false" draggable="false"><br></span></p><p><strong>Note</strong>: Diamante Series systems enter Generator mode after holding the &#x201C;Mute&#x201D; button on the remote for 3 seconds.</p><h2 id="isPasted"><u>Exit Generator Mode</u></h2><ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">Turn on the indoor unit.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Press and hold the &#x201C;Mute&#x201D; button for at least 3 seconds.
