Introduction

This article explains the Dehumidification function for QHD070 Whole-House Ducted Dehumidifiers. 

Understand the Dehumidification Function

Press the "On-Off" key to turn on the Dehumidifier function. Pressing the "On-Off" key again will turn off the function. 

The product's humidity setting range is 30-90%. When the product is powered on for the first time, the default humidity is set to 30%. 

To adjust the humidity level, press the "increase" or "decrease" keys to change the setting in 1% increments. Holding either key for 3 seconds will quickly adjust the setting. If no operation is performed for 3 seconds, the current setting will be saved, and the adjustment mode will exit. 

The product will enter continuous Dehumidification mode, when the humidity is set to 30% and the "decrease" key is pressed again. In continuous Dehumidification mode, the compressor will keep running, regardless of the current humidity level. 

If the ambient humidity exceeds the set humidity by 3% or more, the fan will start, then the compressor will start after 3 seconds. If the ambient humidity is less than 3% below the set humidity, the compressor will stop, then the fan will stop after 3 seconds. 

When starting the product for the first time, there is no 3-minute delay protection for the compressor. During normal operation, the compressor's startup and shutdown are based on humidity conditions and a 3-minute protection delay.
