Introduction

The "P3" error code indicates overcurrent protection of the primary side or secondary side. This article is for Vertex Ducted Central Split (DYC-18) systems. 

Cause: The main control board detects the operating current is too large.

• Use a clamp meter to confirm the AC current, and check item 20. Compare the difference between the check value and clamp meter. If the difference is large, the main control board has a problem. The main board must be replaced. 
• If the difference between the clamp meter and check value is not large, the compressor or system has a problem.
