Introduction

Learn how to manually defrost Diamante Ultra Wall-Mounted (WYT-22) systems. In certain scenarios, the outside unit can build up frost and require you to manually defrost it 

Steps

1. Set the system to Heating mode using the remote control.
2. Press the “ECO” button consecutively 10 times within 8 seconds.
3. The indoor unit will display “C8”, indicating the system has entered the forced defrost cycle.
4. Wait for the cycle to complete. Depending on the severity of the icing, the system might need to go through three cycles to completely defrost the condensing unit. 
5. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
