Do not use a 6-foot plastic whip or a 4-lead mini-split connection wire to connect the breaker box to the condenser unit. This connection requires a specific wiring type based on your local electrical codes and system specifications.

6-ft Plastic Whip (3-Lead, 10 AWG)

This 6-foot plastic whip connects the condenser unit to the disconnect box. It is not meant to connect the main AC panel to the disconnect box, or the condenser unit directly to the breaker box. The whip provides a flexible, pre-made connection that simplifies installation and ensures proper wiring between the outdoor unit and the disconnect box.

4-Lead Mini-Split Connection Wire

The 4-lead mini-split connection wire, sold by the foot, is intended for running the line from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit (condenser). It is not designed for connecting the breaker box to the condenser.
