E1 & F0 Error CodesUpdated 4 days ago
Introduction
The "E1" and "F0" error codes indicate a communication failure between the indoor and outdoor units. This article is for Vertex Ducted Central Split (DYC-18) systems.
The smart controller displays the "E1" error code and the outdoor unit displays the "F0" error code.
Note: These error codes are only displayed in RS-485 communication mode.

Troubleshooting Notes
- Use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage to see if it is between 208-230V to ensure that the voltage is normal and stable.
- Check whether the power terminals are secure and properly connected.

- Check whether the communication cables PQE correspond one to one.
Measure whether there is a short circuit or an open circuit between the communication lines PQ.
- Check whether the communication cable between the outdoor unit display board and main control board is normal. Confirm the wiring is firm and the wiring harness is not damaged. Proceed to the next.

- If there are no problems with the above steps, it may be a communication interference. Connect a 100Ω resistor between the indoor unit PQ.
- If the problem still cannot be solved, check the interference source and eliminate it.
- If the problem still cannot be solved, replace the display board and main control board.
