Why Your Pioneer Discount Code Says "SAMPLE"Updated 12 days ago
It is expected behavior for the discount code to display "SAMPLE" when referrers click their own referral links. The system displays "SAMPLE" instead of the actual coupon code to prevent advocates from using their own discounts.
When a referrer opens their own referral link, they'll see:
- A note explaining the actual code will appear when friends view the page.
- "SAMPLE" instead of the real coupon code
The discount code will appear once your friend opens the referral link using a different browser or device. This is part of our automated fraud prevention system.
If you're still having issues, verify that you're:
- Using a different browser/device than the referrer
- Not already existing customers in our store (existing customers can't use friend offer codes)
