Can Wall-Mounted Indoor Units Be Installed Onto the Ceiling Instead?

No. A wall-mounted indoor unit cannot be set onto the ceiling because this could cause drainage issues.

Does the Indoor Unit Need Additional Hardware for Wall Mounting?

No. The indoor unit includes the mounting plate. Nothing else is needed.
