This article provides steps for disassembling the indoor unit of Quantum Fresh High-Wall (WYT-FA) systems.
Steps
Before Disassembly
1. Remove the Front Panel, Electric Control Box Cover, and Display Board
A. Open the front panel.
B. Remove the screw securing the electric control box cover, then remove the cover.
C. Remove the screw securing the display board, then remove the display board.
D. Gently release the front panel from its pivot points, then remove it from the unit.
2. Remove the Purification Filter
A. Remove the purification filter from the unit in the direction shown in the image.
3. Remove the Filter
A. Release the two release buttons on the filter, then remove it from the unit in the direction shown in the image.
4. Remove the Small Vane
A. Open the large vane fully, then remove the small vane.
5. Remove the Screw Covers and Large Vane
A. Remove the three screw covers, then remove the screws.
B. Remove the large vane.
6. Remove the Middle Frame
A. Remove the seven screws securing the middle frame.
B. Lift the middle frame in the direction shown in the image to release the first latch. There are four latches in total.
C. Hold the middle frame with both hands and lift it slightly to release the second latch.
D. Remove the middle frame from the unit.
7. Remove the Side Plates
A. Remove the side plates from the frame.
8. Remove the Lifting Assembly and Stepper Motor
A. Remove the screw securing the lifting assembly.
B. Release the three latches securing the lifting assembly to the middle frame, then remove the lifting assembly.
C. Remove the screw securing the stepper motor to the lifting assembly, then remove the motor.
9. Remove the Vane Assembly
A. Remove the six latches securing the vane assembly, then remove it from the unit.
10. Remove the Electric Control Box
A. Remove the screws securing the electric control box to the base.
B. Remove the ground screw from the evaporator, then remove the pipe temperature sensor.
C. Remove the electric control box from the unit.
11. Remove the Air-Fresh Module
A. Remove the three screws securing the Air-Fresh module to the base.
B. Remove the Air-Fresh module.
12. Remove the Installation Plate and Pipe Clamp
A. Remove the screws securing the installation plate to the base.
B. Release the latches securing the installation plate to the base, then remove the installation plate.
C. Lift the grip tab slightly, then remove the pipe clamp.
13. Remove the Evaporator
A. Remove the two screws on the left side of the evaporator, then remove the one screw on the right side.
B. Release the latch on the left side of the evaporator, then lift the left side upward.
C. While holding the left side up, release the evaporator from the right latch and remove it.
14. Remove the Motor Cover
A. Remove the two screws securing the motor cover to the base, then remove the cover.
15. Remove the Cross-Flow Fan and Fan Motor
A. Lift the cross-flow fan and fan motor, then move them to the right to slide the fan shaft out of the bearing.
B. Remove the cross-flow fan and fan motor from the unit.
16. Separate the Cross-Flow Fan and Fan Motor
A. Remove the screw securing the cross-flow fan to the fan motor, then separate the fan from the motor.
