Selecting the Installation Location
- Install the machine on the floor, ensuring it is as level as possible.
- Position the machine to ensure easy access for both installation and disassembly.
- Place the assembly template inside the installation compartment. Then, verify there is enough space on the floor for the required openings.
- To ensure easy filter replacement, leave at least 8 inches (203 mm) of clearance between the front of the machine and the compartment wall.

- Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
- To ensure uniform climate control, install the machine as close to the center of the compartment as possible.
- To minimize noise and vibration during operation, leave a minimum clearance of 1 inch (25 mm) between the machine and any walls or fittings on either side.
- If you incorporate external compartments (such as false bottoms), the air to be treated must be drawn from the vehicle's passenger compartment.
- Drawing in outside air can reduce system performance.
