Introduction
The "P9" error code indicates the system is undergoing compressor driving protection. This article is for the following systems:
- Diamante Essenza High-Wall (WYT-17)
- Diamante Pro High-Wall (WYT-20)
- Quantum Fresh High-Wall (WYT-FA)
- Quantum Hyperformance High-Wall (WYT-25)
- Quantum Ultra Ceiling Cassette (CYT-24)
- Quantum Ultra Ducted Ceiling Concealed (RYT-24)
- Quantum Ultra Floor-Ceiling Flex (UYT-24)
- Quantum Ultra High-Wall (WYT-24)
Troubleshooting
The outdoor unit will shut off and display the error code when the compressor starts up or in the process of the following operations:
1. The machine control unit (MCU) cannot test the feedback signal from the compressor, or
2. Tested an abnormal signal from the compressor, or
3. The compressor startup is abnormal.
The system will restart six times continuously. If the system still cannot operate normally, it will display the error code again.
