<h2 id="how-are-the-mini-splits-powered">How are the Mini Splits Powered?</h2>The main circuit panel is the primary power source for the outdoor unit. 115V units use single breakers, while 230V units use double breakers.&#xA0;A disconnect box, or service switch, can be used when connecting the main circuit panel to the outdoor unit.&#xA0;The outdoor unit, which includes the condenser and compressor, connects to the indoor unit with a signal cable. The signal cable carries both power and control signals to the indoor unit.
