For best longevity and durability, Pioneer recommends routing the included flexible drain hose through PVC.
Pioneer Light Commercial Air Conditioning (LCAC) equipment includes the following systems:
- Quantum Ultra Ceiling Cassette (CYT-24)
- Quantum Ultra Ceiling Concealed (RYT-24)
- Quantum Ultra Floor-Ceiling Flex (UYT-24)

(Option A) You can use a rubber coupler to mate the drain tube end to a 3/4" PVC pipe.
(Option B) Another option is to insert the drain tube end directly into a 1-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe, using some waterproofing tape to create a flush and snug seal.
It's recommended to add additional tape around the external of the connection point for better security.
