What is the difference between Inverter+ and Inverter++ systems?Updated 8 hours ago
Understand the difference between Inverter+ and Inverter++ systems.
Despite both systems being wall-mounted ductless mini split air conditioners and heat pumps, the Inverter++ has a few different features than the Inverter+:
- While both models are highly efficient, the Inverter++ consumes less electrical power than the Inverter+. Despite consuming less electrical power, the Inverter++ achieves the same capacity and output as the Inverter+, helping you save money. The Inverter++ is Energy-Star rated. The Inverter+ is only Energy-Star rated for 9000 BTU.
- The Inverter++ models perform better in frigid climates, possessing the ability to continue heating until ambient temperatures reach -13°F. The Inverter+ series, which begins losing heating efficiency at around 42°F, stops heating at 5°F.
- The Inverter++ is multi-zone capable, while the Inverter+ is not.
- While both systems are quiet, the Inverter++ is quieter than the Inverter+.
