Activate Manual Defrost on a Diamante Pro/Diamante Ultra

There may be times where the outside unit builds up frost and needs to be manually defrosted.

To do so, first place the unit in heating mode using the remote control.

Next, locate and press the ECO button 10 times within 8 seconds.

The indoor unit will display "C8", indicating that it has entered the forced defrost cycle.

Wait for the cycle to complete, and reconfigure the unit for another cycle if needed. It may take up to 3 cycles to fully defrost a condensing unit, depending on how severe the icing is.
