E3, E7, or E8 error codesUpdated 2 hours ago
Introduction
The "E3", "E7", or "E8" error codes indicate an outdoor unit coil temperature sensor failure, ambient temperature sensor failure, or discharge temperature sensor failure.
The "E3" error code indicates an outdoor unit coil temperature sensor failure. The "E7" error code indicates an outdoor unit ambient temperature sensor failure. The "E8" error code indicates an outdoor unit discharge temperature sensor failure.
These error codes are for Diamante series systems.
Troubleshooting
If any of the sensors experience a short circuit or an open circuit fault, the system will display the error codes. After the error codes display, the indoor and outdoor units turn off. When the sensors recover, the unit reverts to standby. The unit can then be turned on directly.
