Understand how to wire the decorative panel to the indoor unit air handler for Quantum Ceiling Cassette (CYB) systems.

Note: This article is for a product that is discontinued. 

Wire the cassette panel to the indoor unit using the three wires hanging off of the panel.

• A 5-pin female connector for connecting a wired thermostat (optional).
• A 10-pin main receiver female connector that attaches to the main board of the indoor unit.

The first black head connector, which is optional, accepts wired thermostats, such as our KJR-12B model.

The second and third white head connectors attach to the indoor unit’s main board during installation. Connecting the second and third white head connectors is required.

A dummy connector may be pre-attached to the 5-pin area on the main board, which you can remove and discard.Connect the swing white 5-pin and main white 10-pin connectors to the areas marked in red above.
