Introduction

This article explains how to set up the condensate water drainage for outdoor units. 

This is the second step in the installation process for outdoor units. However, the step is optional and only needed if the default configuration of the water drainage out from the port on the bottom side is not desired.

• Diamante Essenza High-Wall (WYT-17)
• Diamante Pro High-Wall (WYT-20)
• Quantum Fresh High-Wall (WYT-FA)
• Quantum Hyperformance High-Wall (WYT-25)
• Quantum Ultra Ceiling Cassette (CYT-24)
• Quantum Ultra Ducted Ceiling Concealed (RYT-24)
• Quantum Ultra Floor-Ceiling Flex (UYT-24)
• Quantum Ultra High-Wall (WYT-24)

Steps

Use the drain joint and drainpipe included with the system to direct away the condensate water and ice formed in the outdoor unit during Heating mode.

1. Fasten the drain port in the 1 inch (25 mm) port located in the part of the unit shown in the illustration. 
2. Connect the drain port and drainpipe. 
3. Ensure that the condensate will drain to a suitable place.
