Angle Linesets UpwardUpdated 11 days ago

Can the Lineset be Angled Upward?

Yes. Refrigerant lines can go in any direction, and the indoor and outdoor units can be higher or lower than each other. However, the maximum height difference for the indoor and outdoor units should typically be around 33-50 feet (10-15 m) depending on the model.

In addition, the indoor unit must have a condensate drain hose connection with a downward inclination.

Note: The ceiling cassette and concealed ducted versions come with built-in condensation pumps and drains, which can go up to 32 inches (813 mm).
